Angela is a partner of ALN and has over 16 years of professional experience in taxation. She is currently the Chairman for the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia, Southern branch. Angela was previously with KPMG, mainly handling tax audit cases for corporate clients including local public listed companies and foreign multi-national corporations. Angela subsequently joined a MNC and manages the Company’s direct tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing affairs for APAC. Angela is actively involved in various tax engagements concerning corporate and individual tax planning strategies/schemes, handling tax audits by the Singapore and Malaysian Inland Revenue and Royal Malaysian Customs, transfer pricing, inbound investments and cross border transactions. She is also a licenced tax agent under Section 153(3) of the Malaysian Income Tax Act 1967.

Prior to setting up his own practice, Ching Hup was previously attached with KPMG, specializing in external auditing. He later became part of KPMG’s pioneer team in handling GST engagements for corporate clients including local public listed companies and foreign multi-national corporations. He has more than 14 years of professional experience and is currently involved in SST engagements such as SST Health-Check, SST Implementation, conducting in-house training and handling various GST and SST Tax Audits. His expertise is with industries such as manufacturing, trading, service, transportation, construction and entertainment amongst others.

Eng Eng was previously attached with KPMG since the start of her tax career. She later became part of the KPMG’s management personnel and leads her team in handling various tax engagements with local public listed companies and foreign multi-national corporations. Her vast tax experience of more than 16 years has assisted numerous clients in their tax planning strategies, dealings with the Malaysian Inland Revenue on tax audits and acquiring tax incentive approvals from the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA). She is also a licenced tax agent under Section 153(3) of the Malaysian Income Tax Act 1967.

Joey specializes and leads ALN's Company Secretarial department. She was previously attached with KPMG, specializing in external auditing. She later joins a SME group as a finance manager and manages all accounting and finance operations of the Group. She’s actively involved in the trading and retail business operations and participated in the implementation of sales and services tax in the Group. She was also involved in the Group’s review of credit control system as well as debt recovery procedures. She is also a Company Secretary under Paragraph 235(2)(a), Fourth Schedule of the Malaysian Companies Act 2016.

Evon was a tax manager with Ernst & Young Singapore, with 13 years of Singapore and Malaysia tax experience. She is a member of the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP) and Certified Practicing Accountant (Australia) (CPA). Over the course of her career in tax, she has been involved in corporate tax compliance and advisory engagements to manage her clients’ tax risk i.e. tax risk management, tax planning including identifying opportunity for tax optimisation. Her experience includes conducting corporate tax health check, tax documentation reviews and tax audits, assisting clients to build tax positions, filing appeals to the tax authorities, and applications for private rulings from the tax authority, tax incentives and tax exemptions. She also has an understanding of international tax principles including repatriation strategies and transfer pricing considerations.

With nearly 25 years of experience at prestigious firms like PwC and KPMG, Salleh is a seasoned professional. After leaving KPMG as an Executive Director, he joined Johor Corporation, where he spent 8 years leading the Group Finance Division and eventually becoming Managing Director of TPM Technopark Sdn Bhd. In this role, Salleh oversaw all 34 industrial parks of the JCorp Group of companies, ensuring effective and sustainable collaboration with the Federal and Johor state governments to attract foreign and domestic direct investment to Malaysia, particularly to the state of Johor.

During his tenure, Salleh has been appointed to the Board of Directors including the Risk Committee, in Quick Service Restaurants, Healthcare, Hospitality, Plantation, and Industrial Development. This experience enabled him to bridge the gap between being a professional advisor and a professional business leader.

Salleh is a Member of the Chartered Tax Institution of Malaysia (ACTIM), a Certified Investigation Specialist as well as a licensed tax agent under Section 153(3) of the Malaysia Income Tax Act 1967.
